It is a delight to be reunited again with our brothers and sisters of St. Paul’s Shoal Lake! The parish returned to Pelly Plains at the beginning of November. While the parish is still discerning what the future will hold, it is truly a celebration on all sides to be reunited as a wider parish family.

MAKERSPACE

What is a MakerSpace? Basically, a shared space where people can share tools and experience in creative ways. We’ll open the Russell Hall on Saturday, 20 September for anyone wanting time and space to work on – anything! Knitting, scrapbooking, whatever.

Space is limited, reserve your space (one banquet table) through Laura Marie; 204-773-2096

Doors open 8.30-5.00; bring your own lunch and snacks.

Coffee and tea provided. $10 per table to offset costs.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

The local chapter of H4H is looking for help in three areas: applications for families, donations to a consignment fundraiser (to be held early October), and volunteers to work on the build (already underway!)
