TIME CHANGE!
It’s that time of year again— it’s been 4 months since our Sunday worship times shifted.
Starting July 01 our worship times are:
SUNDAYS
9.30am: Birtle
11.30am: Russell
7.30pm: Binscarth
MONDAYS
7.00pm: Roblin
BIBLE STUDY!
Our Bible and Anglican 101 studies in Binscarth and Roblin are paused for the summer, to start again in September. We’re continuing with the reading of the Book of Proverbs in Birtle, Tuesdays starting at 6.30pm!
How do you make Connections?
If you’re in (or have just finished) high school, we want to connect with you. This summer, our Diocese is hosting a youth event for the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert’s Land (an area made up of 10 dioceses across the prairies and the arctic). We’re going to talk about what it means to connect – with one another, with the world, and with God.
We’ve got a team of fun folks coming to lead sessions on topics ranging from social media, being Christian with your friends, living out your beliefs, prayer, and more. There’s information up on the website – a sub-section of the Provincial website – rupertsprov.ca
So come on out and make some connections with us this August! We’ll be gathering at the Brandon memorial Camp on Clear Lake, starting Sun. 26 (evening) and heading home Thurs. 30 (after lunch).
The cost is $200 plus transportation; you may qualify for bursaries from the Diocese or Province (see website). We can’t wait to see you there!

If the Internet is where we connect with family and friends, read news, and find driving directions, it makes good stewardship sense that we find Christian community here too.
The Community is a safe place for Anglicans to get together and talk about life in the church. It has several parts:
* The Anglican Church of Canada’s version of the Revised Common Lectionary.
* Topical blogs on liturgy, children’s ministry, and more.
* Forums for conversation: a place to share ideas and support one another.
Join us. You, your church, and your diocese have both needs and experience. Bring it all to The Community.
Drumming Workshop and Sing-a-Long Concert!
On July 22 our wider parish is co-hosting a special event with grace Lutheran Church, Russell.
We have invited Bruce and Cherlyl Harding (musicians from BC who have worked on several United Church hymnals) to present a Family Sing-a-Long concert.
Join us at Grace for a shortened version of the drumming workshop at 4:00 pm to be followed by a potluck supper and concert at 7:30.
